The 100,000-square-foot commercial and medical office complex received a jolt of energy that is helping to bring new business to Glendale and grow the economy.
In 2015, Tucson-based Holualoa companies purchased the Arrowhead Executive Center, a 99,000+ square-foot multi-tenant property experiencing an 80% occupancy rate and outdated office designs.
In partnership with Holualoa Companies, Plaza Companies purchased the property with the overall goal to transform its interior and exterior design. Resulting in greater tenant satisfaction and higher occupancy rates.
We undertook a laundry list of property rehabilitation projects at the Arrowhead Executive Center, including new parking areas, new roofing, refreshing the building exteriors, and several other measures. Additionally, Plaza Companies added its “high touch, high quality” approach to leasing and property management to ensure the property’s success.
Since our purchase of the property, the Arrowhead Executive Center brought on several high-profile tenants, including The Roadmaster Group and First Fidelity Bank.
When speaking about the property’s incredible transformation, the City of Glendale’s Economic Development Director, Brian Friedman, once said, “The area around Arrowhead Executive Center is one of the drivers of Glendale’s economy, so it’s critical that properties in this area are performing at a high economic level.” He continues, “This is another significant investment by Holualoa Companies and Plaza Companies, resulting in the property’s rapid transition from underperforming to a vibrant and successful business campus.”
Recently, Plaza Companies and Holualoa Companies sold the property with the assistance of Cushman & Wakefield. The property is well-positioned to take advantage of the growing housing demand and growth in the Glendale area. With our renovations and strong management services, it’s primed for further success.
While we no longer own the Arrowhead Executive Center, Plaza Companies is continuing to provide high-level brokerage services to keep the property moving.
